Checkout is closed and nothing has shipped yet. This policy is published now because it governs the first order, not because there have been any.
Where we ship
The United States only: the fifty states and the District of Columbia. We ship to street addresses, and to PO boxes where the carrier allows it.
We do not ship internationally, and that is a decision rather than a gap. Sending research material across a border makes it an import subject to the destination country’s rules, and getting that wrong exposes the person receiving it more than it exposes us. We are not equipped to answer that question correctly for every country, so we do not take the order.
Cutoff and processing time
Orders with confirmed payment before 12:00 noon Mountain Time on a business day are packed the same day. After that they are packed the next business day. Weekends and US federal holidays are not business days.
The clock starts at payment confirmation, not at checkout. A cryptocurrency payment usually confirms within minutes, but confirmation time depends on the network rather than on us, and we do not pick an order before it confirms.
Carriers and tracking
We ship by USPS and UPS, selected per destination. A tracking number goes to the email on the order when the package leaves.
The shipping email and the packing slip both name the lot number of the material you were sent. That is the number you use to look the certificate up at the issuing laboratory, without asking us for anything.
Ambient shipping, and why there is no cold chain
Lyophilized peptide ships at ambient temperature. The freeze-dried powder is stable across a domestic transit window without refrigeration. Cold chain matters for peptide in solution, and reconstitution happens in your laboratory rather than in ours.
We do not ship on ice packs. An ice pack does not extend the stability of a dry powder, and as it thaws it introduces condensation into the package — water being the thing you least want near lyophilized material. Storage conditions after receipt are listed on each product record, and from delivery onward they are yours to maintain.
Packaging
The outer packaging is plain: no branding, no product names, nothing on the outside describing the contents beyond what the carrier requires on a label. That is ordinary for laboratory shipments and it reduces the chance of a package going missing.
Inside, each vial carries its lot number and each shipment carries a tamper-evident seal. If that seal is broken when the package reaches you, photograph it before unpacking any further and open a claim — see refunds.
State restrictions
Some laboratory supplies are regulated state by state — hypodermic needles and certain injection consumables in particular. Where an item cannot ship to your state, checkout refuses the order and names the item, rather than the order being quietly short-shipped later.
The product page for a restricted item lists the states it cannot ship to. If your state blocks something you need, we would rather tell you before you pay than after.
Lost, delayed, and damaged shipments
- Damaged on arrival. Photograph the outer packaging, the seal, and the item before unpacking further, then open a claim within 14 days of delivery.
- Tracking says delivered, nothing arrived. Give it 72 hours — packages are scanned early more often than they are taken — check with anyone else who receives deliveries at that address, then contact us.
- Tracking has not moved for seven days. Contact us and we open the carrier trace. You do not chase the carrier; we file the claim.
The remedies themselves are in refunds. A cryptocurrency payment cannot be reversed, so a remedy is a replacement, store credit, or a new transfer — never a chargeback.
Addresses
We ship to the address exactly as you entered it. Check it before you pay; we cannot redirect a package once it is with the carrier.
If a package comes back to us as undeliverable or refused, we will reship once when you cover postage, or issue store credit for the order less the shipping already spent. A package delivered to the address you gave us has been delivered, even if that address was wrong.
