Field notes

What changed, and a link to where it changed.

Enforcement actions, litigation, and regulatory movement in the market we sell into — dated, attributed, and linked to the primary document. One sentence each. If you want the analysis, read the source; we are not going to compress a federal complaint into something convenient for us.

Most of what lands here is bad news for this business. A sentencing, a manufacturer suing its own grey market, a warning letter — those are the events that tell you what this industry actually is, and publishing them on our own storefront is deliberate. A vendor whose news page only carries news that flatters it is running an ad.

How this page is kept

There is no scraper and no wire behind this. Entries are added when we can point at the court filing, the press release, or the paper itself, which is why the list is short. A feed padded out to look busy would be the same failure as a certificate we drew ourselves.

Dates are the date of the event, not the date we noticed it. If you think something belongs here, send the source to jd@juicedrats.com. The link matters more than the tip.
